Good afternoon everyone!
So yesterday, me and my friend decided to head into town for a spot of retail therapy (in order to save our sanity during exams!).
I picked up a bunch of goodies, and figured I'd do a little post on my Lush haul!
I haven't shopped in Lush in so long, and being back in the store I couldn't believe how much stuff I wanted! One day!

Oatifix Fresh Face Mask
£6.25/75g
"Cleanse, soften and moisturise dry, sensitive skin. A blend of bananas, vanilla and oats to cool and nourish, illipe butter to reduce redness, ground almonds to gently polish and kaolin to cleanse your skin."
The first thing I picked up in Lush was this little beauty. I wanted to treat myself to a nice face mask for when my exams finally finish, and this one immediately jumped out at me. I suffer from dry skin badly (to the point that I have to follow a rather strict regime when it comes to my face) so I was drawn to the Oatifix mask, which is specially designed for dry and sensitive skin. It smells delicious (as does the Cupcake mask) to the point that it smells almost edible (although the 'how to use' section specifically tells you not to!). Hopefully it'll help sort out my skin, and I'll leave a review to follow!

Cupcake Fresh Face Mask
£6.25/75g
"Chocolate heaven for oily and teenage skin. Helps absorb excess oil and calm breakouts. Cocoa butter, linseed and cocoa powder soften with balancing peppermint, spearmint and sandalwood oils."
This isn't something I picked up, but rather what my friend Carrie picked up. She agreed to let me write about this and once she's used it, to let me write up her review of it. So thanks Carrie! (Also, she has a health and fitness blog. If you're interested in reading it, check it out here :) ). Like the Oatifix mask, this face mask smells gorgeous, and just like cocoa. The assistant in the shop also warned us about leaving it in the fridge (which you're meant to do for these masks to keep them cool). Apparently, a customer purchased this and was back the next day buying more. Turns out her boyfriend had spotted it in the fridge when he was drunk, and spread it on some toast and ate it! Needless to say, living in a house full of guys, we'll be leaving notes on these warning them off!

Marilyn Hair Treatment
£9.50/225g
"Whether you are bleach blonde or natural - you will want to keep brassy, orange tones from building up in your hair."
Recently I've been growing really frustrated with my hair. As a blonde, I find it quite hard to maintain and keep a nice natural colour. So seeing this, I was excited and weary at the same time. I'm looking forward to trying this out and seeing if it will actually help give my hair a bit more life, but I'm also curious as to how well this will work. I plan on using this once or twice a week to start off with to see the results, and as soon as I do I'll be posting a review! Keep an eye out :)

Bubblegum Lip Scrub
£5.50/25g
"This sugary perfectly pink polisher keeps lips in a tip tip condition and tasting of candy floss."
I'm a little bit late jumping on the bandwagon regarding this product, but I wanted to buy it anyway as recently my lips have been quite chapped. (I think I'm so stressed with exams it's starting to take it's toll on me - roll on the 28th!). Anyway, I couldn't resist this little item, it smells so sweet and nice that I just couldn't stop myself! A few other bloggers have mentioned that at almost £6 for a small tub, it's quite expensive, and we could even make our own for cheaper. For me, I figured I'd at least try this out first, and then maybe attempt to make my own (although in all honesty, I can see that ending badly!).

Breath of Fresh Air Toner Water
£3.95/100g or £7.50/250g
"The sea breeze captured in a bottle. A refreshing spray to tide you over. Great for use any time throughout the day as a pick-me-up for skin and mind."
When I picked this up, I only chose the small bottle as I was unsure as to how much this would actually work. However, when I got home and experimented, I was quite surprised! The mist felt lovely and cooling on my skin, waking me up a bit (and ready to hit the library, boo). I was a little concerned it would smudge my make-up (I sprayed a little too much haha) but thankfully I was run-free. The bottle also states that it's not just a toner, but aromatherapy in dilution. Nice!

I'm so happy with everything I picked up from Lush, and have definitely fallen back in love with the store! I can't wait to try it all out.
How about you? Any recommendations? What are your favourite Lush purchases?

I'm obsessed with shopping in Lush. It feels so luxe without having to spend a million dollars (... slight exaggeration :P ). My all time favourite product from them is without a doubt their tea tree toner spray. I cannot go a day without it! :)
