Manicure Mondays #3 | Barry M 'Matt White'

Evening all!

I'm back today with the return of my 'Manicure Monday' series, hoorah! Last week I was unable to do a post due to being ill. I'm really sorry, I feel like such a letdown! I'm struggling with tonsillitis constantly at the moment and I feel so rundown and can barely talk, my health is so up and down right now. All my doctor seems to do is prescribe me antibiotics, which also made me worse due to an unknown allergy to penicillin! Anyway, I'm trying to keep upbeat and on top of my blog posts, I don't want to let you all down! :)

Following on from my previous post, I wanted to stick with England's country colours and decided to just stick with white as I love a good white nail. In the past I've always stuck by No7's white nail polish, but as I've started using Barry M polishes recently, I thought I'd try their version; Barry M, Matt White #66.

This polish is perfect! The brush is wide enough to give an even coat, so there was no streakyness at all. I applied plenty of coats to give myself my standard stand-out nail, but this time I tried a new tip I stumbled across. Basically, I always smother my nails with varnish, and then get really annoyed when it begins to chip. Somewhere in a magazine I read an amazing tip stating that if you put on more coats but thinner, the coats will dry quicker and it will reduce chipping. I'm excited and intrigued to see if it'll work, so I'll be sure to keep you all informed!

What do you think? Do you like white nails? Let me know in the comments below!

I didn't know that thinner coats reduce chipping! I guess I will have to try that :=)!

I'd never have thought of it! I normally slather it on because I'm so impatient haha! xo
