Manicure Mondays #4 | Collection - Mardi Gras 'Canary Yellow'

Hey my lovelies!

Today I have installment number 4 in my 'Manicure Mondays' series, woo! I'm so pleased that this series is going down well with you all, your comments and positivity mean so much to me :)

For this post I've gone with Collections Limited Edition 'Mardi Gras' colours, in Canary Yellow, #2. On my weekly shop I was browsing the makeup aisle in my local supermarket, not really intending to buy anything. Then this little beauty jumps out at me, at only £1.50! Such a bargain! How could you go wrong with that?

In all honesty, I'm not sure what I think of this item (sorry!). It went on my nails a dream don't get me wrong, but the colour wasn't as nice of a yellow as I'd hoped. I was wanting something bright, and whilst yes this is bright, it was a bit more of a mustard-y colour. I'm not sure if that's clear in the photo or not? Anyway, I just imagined it to be bolder.

On the plus side, two people at work commented on how nice the colour was! So maybe it's just my eyes haha.

What do you think? Can you recommend any other yellow nail polishes to me? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I think it looks fairly bright in the photo but I still think that if I was going to wear a yellow I'd want it to be really bright. Barry M have one called Lemon Ice Cream which I've heard good things about but never tried myself :)

Thanks, I'm going to give the Barry M one a try. This one just wasn't the shade of yellow I was hoping for I guess. But at that price I'm not going to complain too much!
