Rituals 'Heavenly Hammam' Bath Oil

Good afternoon everyone!

So here is my first proper product review post (other than my Manicure Mondays), so yayy! I have a confession to make regarding this item though. This was brought for me by my now ex-boyfriend. As a result of our break up, I had actually been avoiding using this for obvious reasons. However, I figured I couldn't just leave this in the back of my wardrobe forever, especially when I had first got it I remember it smelling so good. So I thought I might as well put it to some good use and do a review for all you guys :)

First of all, it comes in this cute little bag :) I've never shopped at Rituals before, so when he gave me this I was pretty excited. A few people had mentioned Rituals to me before, but as I'm a poor student, I couldn't really afford it myself. So getting something as a gift was a real treat :)

"Relaxing bath oil - relaxes your body and purifies the soul. Organic Argan Oil, rich in Vitamin E, makes your skin feel more soft and hydrated. Refreshing Eucalyptus provides a sensational and revitalizing fragrance experience."

Argan Oil is thought to be good for skin conditions, for example dry skin (which I tend to suffer from). The bottle recommends that you use 1-2 caps worth under the hot tap; when I read this I was a bit thrown back...after all, whenever I use bath stuff before I always whack a lot in. Especially for bubbles..the more the better right?!

Anyway, I poured two caps in and I just have to say, this smells amazing. Probably where the name 'Heavenly Hammam' comes from. Anyway, the smell definitely made me feel more relaxed, and when I got in the bath it was just perfect. Queue reading an entire book in the bath, it was that relaxing. The oil felt lovely on my skin, and when I got out afterwards, my skin felt more hydrated and smooth.

Needless to say, this item was perfect. I've never felt so relaxed in the bath before and the two caps was more than enough, so I can see this lasting a while, which I'm glad about (I love baths way too much). My only concern was it did make the bath quite slippery for me, so a bit of caution would be advisable! My skin felt luscious and hydrated afterwards and I pretty much slipped straight into bed I was that relaxed. Perfect :)

On the website this sells for £13.50, but in my opinion after using it, it's completely worth it. At the moment they also have an offer on where if you spend £40 you get a free hammam towel! Payday for me is this Friday, so I may find myself doing a bit of an online shop!

How about you? Have you tried the Hammam Bath oil before? Or anything else from Rituals? Let me know :)
