Evening all!
I had the pleasure of receiving my third Birchbox a couple of days ago, and since then I've been too excited to write about it all.

RRP £20 - 200ml
If your hair is in need of a special dose of TLC then grab a bottle of Number 4s Lumiere d'hiver Super Comb Prep & Protect. Strengthening, repairing, de-tangling, great at taming flyaway ends as well as nourishing and protecting, it's a brilliant all-rounder. It's also 100% Vegan, gluten-free, sulphate-free and paraben-free.
This months birchbox is full of brands I've never had the pleasure of using before. This item has to be my favourite for this month, due to the sheer amount of things it promises to do. Normally after washing my hair, I just leave it and don't do anything with it. Which is bad considering how much heat I use on it each day, as well as hair colourants! My hair tends to go quite frizzy around the top too, so here's hoping this will tame it.

RRP £15.95
This fabulous highlighter pencil does it all! Applied to the brow bone and dark circles it will instantly lift your eyes, or used along the water line and inner corner of your eyes it will literally ‘open’ them up. If that’s not enough, it can also be blended down the centre of your nose and applied to the Cupid’s Bow and along the lip line to prevent lipstick bleed and enhance your pout.
Highlighters are one of my current must have products due to me recently learning the tricks of contouring! So receiving this was a lovely treat. It comes in three shades; ivory lace, latte or cinnamon. Being my pale self, I was sent the ivory lace. I'm intrigued to give this a try!

NUDE Progenius Omega Treatment Oil - 5ml
RRP £58 - 30ml
NUDE's signature treatment oil is created with a unique blend of pure omega oils that instantly absorbs for a beautiful, dewy complexion. For normal and dry skin.
When I first read how much the full size version of this, my mouth actually dropped open in shock. I could never imagine spending that much on skincare, especially considering that it's over a days wages for me! But seeing some of the reviews, I may have to change my mind; its got amazing reviews on the birchbox site, and it promises to give that dewy complexion I've always wanted.

RRP £26 - 120ml
Dramatically improve your skin's texture to reveal softer, brighter and younger looking skin! Triple action formula brightens with powerful papaya enzymes to give radiance, exfoliates with dermatologist grade microcrystals and gently cleanses with aloe vera, coconut and panthenol.
Suffering from dry skin on my face quite badly, I'm always eager to try out new products which promise to hydrate the skin. Anything to get rid of that annoying flaky skin! Apparently it has 'dermatologist grade micro-crystals' to give a deep clean, so this should be interesting to use.

RRP £32 - 47ml
We absolutely love our BB creams – but this next-generation CC cream takes corrective coverage to the next level. More lightweight than its prequel and easier to blend, the fragrance-free formula acts as both a primer and a foundation. It smooths fine lines and uneven skin and provides SPF protection. Plus, this all-in-one velvety cream comes in a range of self-adjusting shades to suit a variety of skin tones. Like its Supergoop!® sunscreen counterparts, this CC cream uses 100% natural ingredients and antioxidants to triple protect against UVA, UVB and infrared-A rays. Light-diffusing mica minerals soften the appearance of pores and wrinkles for a fresh, flawless complexion.
Having never used a BB or a CC cream before, it's interesting that I get sent these! I can't wait to see if it truly does as as both a primer and a foundation (it would cut my getting ready time dramatically!). I've seen a few reviews that state that this is nice and light weight, which is perfect for these summer months (if we get any more good weather that is).
The Proposal by Tasmina Perry - Chapter Sampler (Lifestyle)
£4 Paperback, £2.99 Kindle (Amazon)
1958. At eighteen, Georgia Hamilton is sent to London for the Debutante Season. Independent, and with secret dreams to be a writer, she has no wish to join the other debs competing for a husband. But when tragedy strikes, her fate appears to have been sealed.
2012. Hurrying to meet her lover, Amy Carrell hopes tonight will change her destiny. And it does - but not in the way she imagined. Desolate and desperate to get out of London, she accepts a position as companion to a mysterious stranger, bound for Manhattan - little knowing she is about to unlock a love story that has waited fifty years to be told. And a heart waiting to come back to life...
Okay, after reading that blurb I have to say I'm a little intrigued. I love me a good romance novel! I thought it was interesting that for this months lifestyle choice I got sent a book instead of a little keepsake, but hey I'm not complaining!

So that's it for this months birchbox! It's a bit odd that I haven't heard of one brand really, but I'm always open to trying new things!
