On our last day in Paris, Liam and I decided to do a bit of shopping. Our train wasn't until later that evening, but I still wanted to get a few bits for my Secret Santa in the #BloggersSecretSanta14. And of course some bits and bobs for myself...I was in Paris afterall!

The first place I dragged poor Liam to was MAC. Now if you follow me on twitter, you may remember a month or so ago me complaining that the customer service in my local MAC was terrible. I got a lot of replies telling me that sadly it wasn't only my local store, but lots of stores across the UK and there's only a couple of stores where the colleagues are actually friendly. This saddens me because MAC is a lovely brand, and bad customer service almost puts me off shopping there.
Thankfully, that wasn't the case in the store I visited in Paris. The lady in there was an absolute delight and so helpful, which was really refreshing! And to my delight, I managed to bag myself the last Frank-n-Furter Rocky Horror Lipstick. SCORE.

MAC Heirloom Mix Pressed Pigment Mini in 'Victorian Plum' - £17.00
An intensely creamy highlighter offering extreme pearlescence and versatility of finish. Apply dry for a high shine, or on damp skin for a dramatic wet look. Provides eye catching sheer-to-moderate buildable coverage and natural dimension finish.
This baby was a last minute addition for me. The lady in MAC showed me some exclusive little bits she had put to one side - she hadn't got many in stock, and only had 3 of these Pressed Pigment Minis. As soon as I clapped eyes on the 'Victorian Plum', I knew I had to have it - the colour is a lovely deep plum colour perfect for this season!

Ahhh who doesn't love a good MAC lipstick?!

MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in 'Girl About Town' - £15.50
Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made MAC famous.
I'd gone into MAC with the intention of buying a lipstick and I wasn't leaving without one. This colour immediately jumped out at me - out of all my lipsticks, I don't think I had such a bold pink one before! I can't wait to try this baby out.

MAC Rocky Horror Lipstick in 'Frank-N-Furter' (Matte) - £17.00
Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! It's what made MAC famous. Specially designed MAC Rocky Horror packaging.
When I entered the store, I didn't even have this lipstick in mind. Afterall, I was pretty sure it was sold out (and I'm sure it still is in the UK?). So when the lovely lady told me she had only one left, I almost bit her hand off in excitement. I couldn't believe it! And such a gorgeous deep raspberry colour, and it's all mine. Hooray!!

Urban Decay 'Vice 3' Palette - £42.00
You can never have too much of a good thing. Satisfy your eyeshadow vice with 20 velvety, NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN shades - from an amazing soft black and a stunning burgundy to a rich, smoky red-black.
As soon as we went in Sephora I clapped eyes on this and fell in love with it. I mean, just look how gorgeous it is! It was €49.00 in the store, and upon working out the exchange rate it works out to be slightly cheaper than getting it from the Urban Decay website (for around £38.00 instead of £42.00). So obviously this was a sign that I was meant to have it...
The palette comes in a gorgeous bag too, and there's 20 beautiful shades. 'Truth', 'Dragon', 'Vanity', 'Alien', 'Last Sin', 'Undone', 'Freeze', 'Lucky', 'Alchemy', 'Angel', 'Downfall', 'Heroine' 'Reign', 'Bondage', 'Defy', 'DTF', 'Brokedown', 'Bobby Dazzle', 'Sonic' and 'Revolver'. Aren't they some fantastic names for some beautiful shades?

So apparently I may have gone a bit lipstick crazy in Paris...oops. A girl can never have too many lipsticks though, right??

Sephora Rouge Shine Lipstick in 'No.46 - Soulmate' - £7.99
Show-off your gorgeous smile with this easy-to-wear formula that offers heightened transparency and shine. Lips will look brilliant while drenched in this collection of glossy, shimmering, and metallic hues.
Sephora had rows and rows of their own brand lipsticks, and it took some serious restraint to narrow it down to just two. This colour is more of a mulberry shade, and I think it will look perfect in the coming autumn/winter.

Sephora Rouge Shine Lipstick in 'No. 47 - Heartbreaker' - £7.99
Show-off your gorgeous smile with this easy-to-wear formula that offers heightened transparency and shine. Lips will look brilliant while drenched in this collection of glossy, shimmering, and metallic hues.
What a beautiful shade of purple! I'm not entirely sure this will suit me, but I'm really hoping I can pull it off. Its such a bright and different shade to ones I've already got that I thought it would be a bit of a change really!

L'Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds in 'Blake's Red' - £6.99
4 custom-made, enriching matte red shades that are tailored to every skin tone.A matte that reveals red's colour intensity. Enriched with velvet spheres, pure pigments and jojoba oils, lips feel more hydrated after applying.
I've been drooling over this for ages as I absolutely love Blake Lively, so I figured I might as well get it in Paris or I never would! It's a gorgeous bright, pure red colour and the packaging is lovely and sleek - I can't believe I finally have my hands on it!

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain Lip Stain in '29 - Rose Fourreau' - £25.00
Glossy stain from Yves Saint Laurent provides ultimate wear, ultimate shine and ultimate colour. The true revolution of this decade is the coming together of an extremely long-lasting stain formula and glossy shine, using a patented exclusive spatula for precise and smooth application. Pure water-soluble pigments fused in a transparent texture for non-sticky, long-lasting, high-shine gloss.
Initially, I'd gone in with the intention of purchasing the Dior Fluidstick. Finally settling on a colour, I was disappointed when I was told they didn't have any in stock! Thankfully the lovely assistant showed me the YSL version, in pretty much the same colour. Phew! The colour is a gorgeous rose colour, and actually feels light on wear. I was expecting it to feel a bit thicker as it's lipgloss, but it's actually really durable.

Sephora Nail Polish in 'Sweet Candy' and 'Silver Crackled' - £7.00 (Approx)
These were an implulse buy near the tills more than anything. I thought the silver crackled would be something different - keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming manicure mondays featuring this!

Along with all my purchases, I got a handful of samples too! Including products from brands such as Armani, YSL and Benefit!

I had only heard of KIKO Cosmetics briefly before. On our way back from a day of shopping, we cut through a little shopping centre only to be greeted by this store inside. Needless to say, I saw the words 'cosmetics' and immediately dragged Liam inside. Poor boy.

KIKO Cosmetics Ultra Glossy Stylo in '820 - Heavenly' - £3.50
I'm not sure why I picked up a blue lipstick, but at the time there was a sale on in store and it was only around €2. Liam suggested the blue as it was unique, and as he stated 'you've got thousands of reds why do you need more'. Smartypants.

KIKO Cosmetics Smart Lipstick in '917 - Mauve Pink' - £2.50
This was again another item on sale (seriously, keep me away from sales) and is a lovely nude colour. It smells really good too - like candy. I have to keep reminding myself it's not to eat!

What do you think? Pretty impressive haul eh?

That eyeshadow of Mac looks amazing!

Oh don't worry about it. I was highly curious about Mac products and decide to visit our local store in South Africa but they were not interested in being all helpful. It was awkward and a pure waste of time.
