Lush 'Ice Blue' Soap Review

These days I can't seem to walk within the vicinity of Lush without my nose picking up on the smell and dragging me to the store. It's seriously addictive, and I never seem to leave the store empty handed. Good for me, not so good for my bank account.

A fresh, peppermint soap to awaken your senses and give you a cool start to the day. If an early morning dip in the sea is out of the question, this is the next best thing to the cool waters to revive and refresh. Peppermint contains menthol, which adds a burst of fresh fragrance to this bright blue soap, and leaves your skin tingling, while fine sea salt softens the skin. We've also added sweet wild orange oil and bergamot oil to put a zing in your step.

A few months ago, I would have laughed if somebody told me I'd become a soap person. With such a range of shower gels, lotions etc nowadays, I never really saw the need for soaps. Then a trip to Lush one day completely changed my mind. With so many different soaps on display, I felt like a kid in a candy shop!

The one that jumped out at me the most was this 'Ice Blue' Soap. It smells heavenly. Let me tell you now - I am not a morning person whatsoever. But this soap is packed full of minty goodness, it really wakes you up in the morning and makes you ready for the day ahead. Just what I needed.

Another bonus is that after use, I've noticed my skin is a lot softer. I suffer badly from dry skin, so this was a blessing really. The sea salt in it helps to gently exfoliate the skin, leaving it soft to the touch.

Since I purchased 'Ice Blue', I've used it pretty much every day and still have plenty of it to last me well into the new year. At £3.10/100g, it hardly breaks the bank to have that little bit extra to help wake me up in the morning!

What about you? Have you used 'Ice Blue' before?

Lush soaps are quick becoming a favourite of mine! They're really refreshing which is surprising as soaps I've used in the past just haven't been up to scratch xo
