Lush 'Sparkler' Bath Bomb Review*

Dino's Beauty Diary - Bath and Body Review - LUSH Sparkler Bath Bomb Review

A while back, I was invited along to the Lush Christmas Event. As part of it, I was lucky enough to jot down my three most lusted after items to be able to take away afterwards as a little gift. I can't stress enough how difficult this was, especially when you want to buy the entire range. As a huge bath bomb fan, it was inevitable that one would make it's way onto my list, and it's that review I bring you today; the 'Sparkler' Bath Bomb*.

After seeing a demo at the event of the 'Northern Lights' bath bomb, I knew I had to have the Sparkler as it smelt just like it was meant for me. The bath bomb contains popping candy and is infused with a lovely scent, whilst also releasing more colours into the bath when it's popped in.

After dropping it in the bath, I was expecting it to go off into a crazy fizz like Lush bath bombs normally do. However I was a little bit disappointed as it had more of a slow burn to it instead. I thought it would whip round the bath like I had seen in the demo, however it fizzed a lot slower than I expected it to. Apparently there's meant to be a 'faster fizzing mix' at both ends to make the bath bomb turn a bit more, but sadly I didn't really see that in this one.

That's the only thing that I found a bit disheartening with this though. With regards to scent, it smelt absolutely divine. Once dropped in it released a gorgeous rose jam scent, which is by far one of my favourite smells from Lush. It filled my bathroom entirely with the scent, and even left a small trace of it on the skin afterwards.

Colourwise, it turned my bath into a lovely bright green/yellow colour, with infusions of red/pink. It foamed up quite a bit after a bit of prodding, and released quite a bit of glitter too! The glitter looked absolutely amazing shimmering around the bath, and even left a small glimmer on my skin. I must admit, I was worried about being covered in glitter when I got out the bath but thankfully that wasn't the case. Instead it only slightly remained on the skin - nothing too noticeable!

Overall, I'm majorly impressed with the scent of this bath bomb! I don't think I've ever smelt a bath bomb so good... What are your thoughts? Do you have a favourite Lush bath bomb to recommend?
