Hair Review | Bleach London 'The Big Pink' Hair Colour

Dino's Beauty Diary - Hair Review - Bleach London 'The Big Pink' Hair Colour

Back in November, my lovely other half took me on a romantic week away to Paris. Seeing the time as a perfect opportunity to experiment with my hair due to time off work, I jumped at the chance to give one of the Bleach London non-permanent hair dyes a go. For what feels like forever I've wanted pink tips to my hair, and with that I went for 'The Big Pink.'

The bottle itself is cute, if only a little smaller than I thought it would be. I was torn between using this one, or the 'Rosé' colour - in the end I went for this beauty as I thought it would be a much better, bolder pink. And boy was I right.

The application itself seemed a bit messy to me - but that was probably due to the fact that I left it until last minute and did it in the hotel bathroom in London late at night. And I didn't take any rubber gloves with me (HUGE MISTAKE) so my hands got horrendously stained. And I mean bad - they were bright pink, and no amount of hand wash or scrub could get it off for what felt like forever. That and when I put it on my hair it stained my shoulders too - I'm too messy for my own good.

The mixture itself is a quite thick consistency, which I was surprised with. Normal hair dyes are quite runny in comparison, so with this you need a lot less in my opinion. After the required time I rinsed out the product and blow dried my hair, too eager to see the results. Here are a few photos of the finished result:

Overall I'm so impressed with how bright the colour turned out, and also how long it lasted! Because of how deep in colour it was it lasted at least 8 washes, which I think is well worth the £5.00 price tag. It's also perfect for people like me who want something temporary to spice up their hair, whilst not affecting work standards!
