Lollipops Paris Brand Review*

I first became aware of 'Lollipops Paris' last year, when I received one of their nail polishes in my October Birchbox. Since then I've been sent a few of their other makeup items to try, and boy are they beautiful!

Isn't this just the cutest package you've ever seen?! When I opened this up I was immediately excited - pretty packaging is my weakness! And I wasn't about to be let down by the make-up packaging either!

Lollipops is a Parisian brand which initially specialised in fashion accessories, but branched out into the makeup industry in 2010. They offer high quality products at affordable prices, and promises that their makeup will suit you whatever the mood.

First up is the cutely packaged 'Eye Pencil.' I love the little slogan written up the side - 'Close your eyes, go dancing!'. It's a beautiful coffee coloured liner, and is more of a gel pencil which makes it a heck of a lot easier to apply in my opinion. It has quite a bit of staying power too - I had to scrub at my hand quite a bit to get that baby off!

Next is one of the prettiest eyeshadows I've ever seen, the Mono Eyeshadow in the shade 'Lili's Delight'. The website describes this shade as a shell pink, but in my opinion is more of a neutral chocolate-y shade with a hint of glitter, which is perfect for my everyday use. It's really pigmented and gives you a great amount of bold colour with just one swipe across the eyelid. I'm seriously in love with the compact casing too - especially the little detailing 'Tell me my mirror...I'm so sexy!'

A girl can never have too many lipsticks...and I'll keep saying it until my fiance understands that. This product is called 'Lipstick Shiny', and I received the shade 'Fatal Cocktail' which is a bright coral colour. Initially I was hesitant - coral colours don't tend to suit me much, but when I swatched it it actually came out as more of a balm than a full on lipstick. Its sheer and adds just the right amount of pop to my lips.

Plus just look at that packaging - the detailing is beautiful and really adds a touch of class to the products. I'll stop talking about packaging now I swear.

The final item has to be my favourite, the 'Baume Amoureuse'. It's a clear balm that hydrate the lips perfectly, without leaving them feeling smothered in product. And it smells delicious - I can't quite place it, but it's something like vanilla. It's yummy, seriously.

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with my little parcel of goodies! Lollipops have really outdone themselves with stunning products which look high quality but are super affordable. I hope they extend their reach a bit more into the UK soon!
