As with all Makeup Revolution products, the packaging is gorgeous and sleek and gives off the high-end impression. When in fact this little beauty only retails at £4. Yes, £4.00! Which works out at 33p a shade - crazy!
The colours in the palette are perfect for everyday use, especially for me as I rock a nude smokey eye every day when I'm at work. There's 4 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades, all of which are highly pigmented.
Shades #01 to #06 are some of the lightest of the palette, with shade #01 being matte and perfect for use in the inner corner of the eye. Shades #04 and #05 are my favourite of the bunch as they can be blended together perfectly to create a gorgeous smokey eye. Shade #06 is a lot more golden looking on application, and is actually surprisingly lighter than it looks in the palette. I think shade #02 is perfect for a light application on the brow line in my opinion, as just a dab of it would highlight my brows perfectly. Shade #03 is one of the matte shades and quite a bright yellow, so I'm not sure how often this would be used for me!
Shades #07 to #12 are the darkest of the palette, and perfect for contouring the eye. Shades #08 and #09 are something new to me - they're deep greens, which when paired together I think would look stunning! Shade #10 is another one of my favourites, something about deep browns just appeals to me. Shades #11 and #12 are the last two matte shades of the palette, whilst shade #07 is a beautiful rose golden colour. Is anyone else like me, with an obsession with anything rose gold?!
Makeup Rev palettes always remind me of the Urban Decay 'Naked' range - in that you always get a really high pay off with relatively little product. Looking at the palette and the pigmentation itself, I'm still in awe that this product is only £4. Well done guys, you've truly outdone yourself with another amazing product! The Iconic Dreams palette can be found on the Makeup Revolution website here for £4.00.

I think I definitely need to get myself some more makeup revolution. How did I not know these were only £4?!? I might have to invest in all of them 😉 x
Makeup Revolution palettes are dupes for all kinds of high end palettes! :)
Iconic 1-3 are dupes of Urban Decay's Naked 1-3, Iconic Pro 1-2 are dupes for LoracPro 1-2, etc. :)
Although I have my LoracPro palette and I don't see how I would need any other palette, I really like Makeup Revolution for giving a cheap dupe for something I'm not really prepared to pay 40€+ just to see if I like it.

I can't believe how amazing they are as dupes! Sometimes I find they're better than the real thing xo
Yesss! Get more definitely :D xo
Do you use them with a primer?
I hope they do a taupe-ish, gray undertoned contour powder one day, not the bronzing kind (they do all kinds of Nars dupes as well), I'm terrified of those. I'd be all over that. :D
Ooh so many pretty colours in this palette! Need to check it out x
