Dino's Beauty Diary - Skincare Review - Soap and Glory 'Drama Clean' 5-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water

I'm terrible when it comes to taking my makeup off; I'm so lazy and up until recently I never really had a real skincare routine. Thankfully due to my new job and the training I've received I now know the full benefits of having a complete routine. And thats where this little gem comes in!

Soap and Glory are a brand I've adored for years, ever since I went into my very first Boots store when I was younger with my mum. As such, when I saw this cleansing water I figured I should change things up a bit and give it a go. Cleansing waters are useful in the way that they are simple solutions that can be used quickly and without the need for water to rinse the product away, and in addition remove makeup and any traces of dirt.

Drama Clean does all these jobs and more. For me, it removed my eye makeup without having to tug at my eyes harshly; it literally just wiped away. And with the makeup I wear and it's staying power, that is quite an achievement! What also amazed me was how well it removes lipstick, as normally I find my lips can be quite stained if I've been wearing a dark or bright shade. Thankfully that seemed to be no problem with this micellar water!

In addition, I also found it quite hydrating for my skin, which is something I can never be short of! Once wiped all over the face, it has a cooling effect which is a huge bonus after a long day with a face full of makeup. Scentwise it's advertised as having 'peach extracts and natural cucumber juice', and that's the only downside to this for me. I would personally love it if you were able to smell the peach a bit more, however it seems to be mainly an overpowering smell of cucumber. I'm not a huge fan of it, but as it is quite cooling and hydrating I can overlook it!

Have you tried Drama Clean? If so, what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!

Sounds like a good cleanser. I'm a little worried about trying these micellar cleaning water products as I had a reaction to one of them.

I have this and I too love it but that smell of cucumber doesn't make me reach for it often. Ideally I would love if this smelled like pink grapefruit as that is a beaut-iful smell!

Really? Might be good to try a No7 version, they have ones suited for all skin types so a sensitive one might help :) xo

It's fantastic! Not overly fond of cucumber but as I follow up with a No7 toner afterwards it doesn't really matter to me :) xo

Yeah same! It has peach in it too, I just wish the peach was a bit more present! xo
