Crabtree & Evelyn 'Garden Celebration' Event Nottingham - Dino's Beauty Diary

Last year, a few weeks after I started blogging, I had the pleasure of being invited to my first ever event: the Crabtree & Evelyn 'Handy Tips' Event. And this year, Crabtree & Evelyn were at it again with the 'Garden Celebration!' The lovely Gemma from Gemms Beauty was helping to organise, along with the PR lady, Jamie.

Beforehand I met a couple of my favourite blogging girls, Hannah and Sian and we went a little crazy with shopping. Ooops! Expect a haul post soon...honestly the things I do in the name of blogging ;).

Crabtree & Evelyn have such a fantastic range of products that it's hard to know what to pick sometimes. Between the body lotions, hand creams, and perfumes, you're honestly spoilt for choice. With such cute and colourful packaging, you can be blown away by all the different products.

Personally, I love how all the different scents stretch over so many different products. Which is good for me, as I've fallen for the new range, 'Verbena and Lavender'. Wow, I have to tell you now, this smells fantastic. Normally, I'm not a big fan of lavender - I just find it too overpowering. But in the new products with Verbena, it seems like the perfect combination. Needless to say when the lovely PR rep Jamie showed it to me and Hannah, we were completely hooked. Oh, and just look at those nail polishes. For a nail polish addict like me, I felt like I was in heaven!

Like last year, we were all treated to hand massages by the fantastic staff. And let me tell you, there is nothing better on a Tuesday evening than being treated to a hand massage! I went for the Verbena and Lavender hand cream (completely hooked), and afterwards my hands felt so soft and silky. In all honestly, it made me realise how much I neglect my hands - they could definitely do with some major looking after.

After a raffle, we were all generously given a gift bag with a full size hand cream (I got Verbena and Lavender, score!), a perfume sample (Pear and Pink Magnolia, which smells gorgeous) and a full size nail polish (in Clementine). Added on top of that, I purchased the 100ml bottle of the Verbena and Lavender perfume, as well as a big pot of the body lotion. As you can tell, I'm obsessed with the smell. So much so that I wore it so much on holiday that it's included in my Holiday Essentials.

The night was absolutely fantastic, and I can't thank Gemma and Jamie enough for inviting me. I can honestly see this being a yearly event on my social calendar, and I can't wait for Crabtree & Evelyn 2016!
