One of my biggest peeves is dry skin. Nowadays I notice it more and more when I'm applying my foundation - annoying dry patches here and there. But with a proper skincare regime, and the No7 'Beautiful Skin' Day and Night Creams, I've started noticing a real difference. My skin looks more hydrated, healthier and brighter than ever before.

I know I can't be the only person out there that constantly forgets to use a moisturiser in the morning? I'm seriously not a morning person - so much so that I often used to sacrifice a proper skincare regime for a few precious extra minutes in bed. Terrible, I know. But recently I've been making more of a conscious effort to actually get my lazy butt out of bed and take care of my skin, and this day cream by Boots No7 has played a huge part. Now I can tell if I've skipped a day as it feels like my skin is cursing me for doing so - it feels tighter, looks duller and you can tell it's begging for moisture. After use, my skin feels soft and smooth and has a bit of a glow about it - basically, my skin looks so much healthier if I use the cream continuously.

Night creams are a critical part of any skincare regime. Applied before bed, they work throughout the night to help replace moisture and keep skin looking healthy. Previously I had been using my Merumaya 'Overnight Recharge' Cream (here) which worked a dream, so I already knew the importance of a good night cream. No7's night cream works throughout the night as during the night the skin is rested, meaning it can be treated more easily. It provides intense hydration, and waking up in the morning my skin is soft to the touch and feels smoother, unlike the tightness I'm used to with dry skin.

Overall, I can't rate the Day and Night creams highly enough. For £13.50 each they can seem quite expensive, although I'd gladly pay this much for some skincare products that actually work well. Gone are the days now where I constantly moan about my foundation looking patchy! Plus Boots often have offers on, such as 3 for 2 or the £5 off skincare vouchers - so if you're interested in bagging these for yourself, keep your eyes peeled for special offers!
