Bath & Body Review | Lush 'Dragon's Egg' Bath Bomb

When it comes to bath bombs, Lush undoubtedly have the winning seat. For years now I've loved walking into that shop with its array of scents, looking around in wonder at all the pretty things. My favourite though has to be the different variety of bath bombs; there's always a choice for everyone.

After the advice of a couple of blogger friends, I decided upon the Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb. All I needed to be told was that once it's put in the water it releases confetti, and I was completely sold.

Dragon's Egg makes bathtime exciting as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day. It's citrus scents leave you feeling transformed and invigorated.

The Dragon's Egg bath bomb isn't like other bath bombs, and instead has a slow fizz to it. After plonking it in the bath it didn't start fizzing away quickly, and instead frothed up with a white foam. After a while it slowly released different coloured confetti, and broke down inside to release a golden orange-y shimmer.

The scent is really sweet and citrus-y, and is really uplifting and could perk anyone right up. What I absolutely love the most about this though is the popping candy - yes you heard right, popping candy. There's some crackling after this has been in the bath a while and it really adds that something new to bath bombs. I'm completely hooked.

Overall I'm pretty impressed by this bath bomb, and for only £3.35 you can't go wrong (especially with the popping candy!). This bath bomb is definitely going on my 'to rebuy' list as I love the way it slowly melts to reveal more inside!

Have you used Dragon's Egg before, or do you have another Lush item to recommend to me? Let me know in the comments below!
