The Multipurpose Balm That Every Girl Needs - Dr PawPaw

Dino's Beauty Diary - Skincare Review - Dr Paw Paw Multipurpose Balm

Dr Paw Paw are one of those brands whose products I've wanted to try for what feels like forever, but never actually got round to. But with no stores near me stocking their products, I never had the chance to - until now. When I was offered the chance to try out their multipurpose balm, I practically squealed in delight! So today I'm giving you guys my thoughts on the Dr Paw Paw 'Multipurpose Soothing Balm'*.

'Dr Paw Paw is a lip balm, skin balm, heel balm, nail balm - it's a multi use balm!

Our Paw Paw balms are made from a variety of natural ingredients including pawpaw, olive oil and aloe vera which, blended together, create a multi-purpose formula for you to carry around at all times thanks to the handy 25ml tube.

Our main ingredient is fermented pawpaw, the fruit of the plant Carica Papaya. The pawpaw has been found to have many soothing properties for our skin and hair, making it a real 'go to' product.

Our luscious paw paw balms can be used on lips, skin and hair - whatever you use for it, we guarantee you will be delighted with the satisfyingly smooth finish!'

On first look I have to say, in a shop I would be very attracted to the packaging! The product comes in a yellow and black tube, which really stands out in my opinion. The size is convenient enough to fit in my handbag no worries, so I can take it anywhere with me. In fact, I actually keep this in my glasses case so I can whip it out when it's needed at work.

The product itself I found to be relatively scentless and quite thick in consistency. At the moment I use it mainly on my lips, and I found that I only need the smallest amount for decent coverage. I suffer from quite dry, chapped lips quite a lot and this baby was perfect for battling that - I found it quite smooth and silky, and left my lips feeling a lot softer afterwards, whilst also lasting for a decent amount of time. I'd say during a 11 hour shift, I only had to top my lips up once!

In addition to dry lips, I also suffer from quite bad dry skin, particularly on my elbows. Again I only applied the smallest amount, and whilst it felt a bit sticky on my elbows at first it soon settled, making my skin quite soft and smooth to the touch.

The only downside to this product for me was getting the darn thing out of the tube. Honestly, it's a bit like a mini workout when it comes to using it, it's really quite difficult to get even the smallest amount of product out. I don't know if that's just the product I received though!

Apart from that, the balm is absolutely fantastic and I'm eager to try out some of it's other uses - especially on my feet as work is killing me at the moment! Have you used the multipurpose balm before? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!

If you're interested, you can purchase the balm here - it even comes in 3 different flavours!

This sounds very much like a product I already use and love it! I've never used anything from this brand so I'm definitely going to have to take a look at the brand!
