When it comes to vitamins, minerals and everything else, it's easy to become confused as to what the body needs. Surely I'm not the only one? Between x amount of this vitamin, and x amount of that mineral, it can all seem pretty overwhelming - especially when it comes to dieting, where crucial elements can be cut down or out without realising.
That's where Forza come in. As one of the fastest growing names in the food supplement industry, Forza are gaining a brilliant reputation with celebrities such as Marnie Simpson (Geordie Shore), Chloe Goodman (Ex on the Beach) and plenty more. So when I was asked to try out their new multivitamin range for dieters, I was eager to give it a go. Not only to make sure that my body was getting the essential nutrients it needed, but also to aid me getting into shape.
Inside the box there's 2 trays of 15 capsules, giving a 30 day supply, and an information booklet. I actually found the booklet a brilliant tool in regards to dieting; it has everything from dietary information to healthy recipes and exercise tips in a mini 46 page book. It's super handy in telling you what you need to be looking at on food packaging in regards to your daily intake, as well as telling you exactly what all the numbers and everything else means. I found the 'healthy recipes' section to be particularly useful - most healthy recipes I found before seemed to either take too long, or were beyond my basic abilities. But Forza's recipes are super simple and easy to follow!
The capsules are pretty much the same size as paracetamol capsules, but people who struggle with swallowing tablets may still struggle. They're meant to be taken once a day on a full stomach, so one box would last around a month. Not bad for £7.49! These diet capsules are unique in the fact that they have been specially tailored to 'meet the needs of women who are maintaining a low calorie diet, avoiding certain food groups, and taking part in physical exercise.' Hooray for being gluten free!
With a combination of 13 vitamins and minerals, Forza believe that dieting should be more about cutting the calories and not the essential nutrients we need. Some of the vitamins and extra boosted ingredients included in the multivitamin are; Vitamin B (for normal energy release and the reduction of tiredness), Vitamin C (collagen formation for the normal function of skin, teeth, gums and cartilage), Vitamin D (helps support the normal functioning of the immune system), Vitamin K (contains both Calcium and Vitamin K for the maintenance of normal bones and for dairy free dieters) and Zinc (for healthy skin, hair and nails).
So, how did I get on with the Forza multivitamin? I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised with the results. Thanks to the Vitamin B I have a lot more energy, and don't grow fatigued as quick. My motivation has increased and I found I was a lot more alert, which is perfect as I've been getting up earlier and cracking out quite a few blog posts! Cheers Forza!
Exercise wise, I haven't been able to do much as I've been quite ill recently. However I have whipped out my Vicky Pattinson '7-day slim' dvd on a couple of occasions when I've been feeling relatively okay and took it easy, which is more than I've done in a while! I've also noticed a change in my hair and nails, as they both feel stronger and my nails have grown well without breaking so far. Impressive!
Another thing I love about these capsules is that they do not state that they are intended to be a method of weightloss. Instead, they aim to help you achieve your daily requirement of vitamins and increase your physical activity, therefore aiding exercise rather than reducing body weight.
I only have a few of these capsules left before I run out, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the results so far and this will definitely be a multivitamin I repurchase. So far it's been one of the only courses of vitamins that I have managed to stick to, and I think that says a lot about this products ability. Those of you looking to diet or exercise will be pleasantly surprised, and you can find the product here for only £7.49, and there are a number of other products available on the Forza website.
