Lush Oxford Street Haul #2

Dino's Beauty Diary - Lush Oxford Street Haul #2

Ah, nothing beats a good Lush haul does it? Most girls (and bloggers to think about it) love a little trip to a local Lush store, and I definitely fall into that category. I'm always amazed at the products, and I swear that each time I go in I find a new product that I always feel like I need. So when myself and Natalie (of Natalie's Beauty Base) headed down to London to attend the blogger awards, it was inevitable that we would eventually find our way to the flagship store on Oxford Street.

Both of us were guided around the store by one of the friendly assistants, mmming and ahhing over bath bombs and bubble bars galore. There's so much more to the Oxford Street store, and because I live so far away it's a legitimate excuse to stock up on items. Right? Some of the products I went for in the end aren't exclusives, so a few of the items are actually available in all stores.

Now, let's get into this!

'Yog Nog' Bath Bomb - When I saw this bath bomb and it's name, I did a little squeal in delight. Last year I treated myself to a big chunk of the soap as I'd fallen in love with the yummy toffee scent so much, and this bath bomb is no different. 'Yog Nog' is such a gorgeous, warm scent, so it's perfect for warming you up on a cold winter night. The bath bomb has big chunks of shea butter to help soften the skin too, which is perfect for people like me who struggle with dry skin. I really, really hope Lush bring out a shower cream of this scent soon - they'd definitely have me buying them out of them all!

'Ylang Song' Bombshell - Ylang Ylang is another favourite scent of mine, and that's what swayed me towards this bath bomb. It's an Oxford Street exclusive which makes me sad, so I'm currently putting off using it for as long as I can. As it dissolves in the water it releases a bundle of fresh petals, so you can feel like a princess whilst you're soaking in the bath. Instant win!

'Bar Humbug' Bubble Bar - This was initially a treat for Liam (so he wouldn't have a go at me for spending yet more money in Lush hehe) but the scent is actually appealing to me more and more each time I smell it. When used it turns the water a gorgeous shade of light purple with a glittery shimmer, as well as giving you a mountain of bubbles to soak in.

'Five Gold Rings' Bubble Bar - The design of this one is what appealed to me, as it is something fresh and new amongst the other bubble bars. 'Five Gold Rings' has such a delicious but different aroma, which sets itself apart from other Lush products. Breaking off one of the rings to crumble under the tap, 'Five Gold Rings' turns the water an eye-catching shade of yellowy orange.

'Shark Infested Custard' Bath Oil - Ah, bath oils. I'm so happy that these have been rolled out to other stores now as I was practically crying at the idea of travelling down to London every time to restock them all. 'Shark Infested Custard' is a new one that I haven't seen before, and it appealed to me because of the cute little shark fin that sticks out the top. 'Shark Infested Custard' has a vanilla scent too which is always a winner.

'Snow Melt' Bath Melt - Initially I picked this one up because it's one of the bath melts that I don't own yet, and next to the others its probably the only melt that isn't as vibrant and colourful as all the others. With cocoa butter and shea butter 'Nightwing' is hydrating and nourishing for the skin, and once popped in the bath it leaves some gorgeous silver glitter floating around the bath.

'Santa's Belly' Shower Jelly - First of all, can we appreciate how stunningly red this product is, aswell as having gorgeous silver stars dotted throughout? As part of the Christmas seasonal range, I snapped this one up as soon as possible to add to my collection. There's a fresh, fruity kind of fragrance to it which is always a winner. The most dominant smell is that of apples, and the smell is so sweet and nice it would be hard not to like this Jelly.

'Nightwing' Shower Jelly - This was part of the Halloween range, so chances are it's gone from stores now, but I just had to talk about it. I had no idea about this jelly until Natalie told me about it - once taken out it's in the shape of a bat. How cool is that?! Plus the scent is one that is so familiar, but I just can't place it - think very zesty lime or like fruit pastilles and you're on the right track. I'm hoping this beauty makes a reappearance in stores next year!

Lush hauls are always my favourite to write - there's just something about Lush products that gets me all excited and I love writing everything up. At some point I'm definitely going to be heading back down to London to cast my eye over a few more of the products; they have so much in store that it seems impossible to look over everything in just one visit!

Have you been to the Oxford Street store? What did you get? Or do you have something to recommend for me? If so, let me know in the comments below!
