The Melt Crowd | Christmas Edition (December 2015)

Dino's Beauty Diary - The Melt Crowd - Christmas Edition - December 2015

Another month, and another Melt Crowd box. Not that I'm complaining though! The start of every month is now my favourite thanks to Flamingo Candles, and with the December box you could practically smell it as soon as it was posted through the door. It smells delicious! Could the December box possibly top last months and become my new favourite?

For December, the majority of the melts this month have something to do with Christmas in one way or another. There are even two with a metallic wrapper which actually reminds me of tinsel! Plus there's a little Florrie Flamingo included this month - the perfect photo prop anyone?

Dino's Beauty Diary - The Melt Crowd - Christmas Edition - December 2015

This month, the melts are:

'Asian Pear & Plum' Scent Melt - The first thing that's noticeable about this melt is that it smells so sweet and juicy, and that makes my mouth water a bit. It reminds me of very juicy and sweet green apples, but also has an underlying musky scent with a hint of jasmine. Definitely one of the first ones I'm going to burn.

'Black Tea & Almond' Scent Melt - When I think about it, I can't say that tea normally has much of a smell to it. But if it smelt anything like this melt, I'd probably snap it up straight away. It has a deliciously sweet almond aroma to it that works perfectly with the vanilla and patchouli base notes to give a soft scent that's not too overpowering.

'Christmas Pudding' Scent Melt (Exclusive) - I've never been a fan of Christmas pudding (blasphemy I know), so when I first saw this melt I was a little bit apprehensive. The melt has a very warm centre to it and is dominated by cinnamon so much that I can't really seem to smell much else.

'Cinnamon Sticks' Scent Melt - This is one of the melts I got excited about when I first noticed it - just look how shiny and pretty it looks! When I saw that is was called 'Cinnamon Sticks' I was a little bit worried - I'm not a big lover of cinnamon at all. Whilst it is noticeable, it's not too overpowering like it is in the pudding melt. There's a slight zest to it too once you manage to get over the cinnamon.

'Mulled Wine & Berries' Scent Melt - In all its shiny, red glory, this melt is definitely my favourite of the month. It smells mouthwateringly good - I've always been a fan of anything with a berry smell about it, and this is no exception. It's a gorgeous, sweet scent and apparently also smells like mulled wine. Unfortunately, I can't say that I've ever had mulled wine that tastes as gorgeous as this melt smells!

'Vanilla Milk Bottles' Scent Melt - Remember those milk bottles you used to have as a kid? As part of the candy shop range, this melt smells exactly the same as those yummy treats. With a sugary, warm and welcoming aroma, this would be the perfect melt to use to make your home smell nice and cozy.

'Black Cherry' Scent Melt (Exclusive) - I'd say that this is one of the more dominant scents in the box, and you can definitely smell it before the box is even opened. It's a very sugary and sweet melt, and kind of reminds me of the cherries in Haribo packs (which are SO yummy).

'Mistletoe' Scent Melt (Exclusive) - I can't say I've ever smelt mistletoe before, but this melt smells exactly how I would imagine it to, if that makes sense? Probably not. Anyway, it's quite a nice, refreshing scent which makes me think of the outdoors. Among all the sweet melts, it's a nice and refreshing change.
