In the blink of an eye, Christmas has come and gone once again. Christmas as a child was the best time ever wasn't it? It seemed to last for so long, where as nowadays being all grown up it goes so fast, and before you know it you're back in work. One of the perks of Christmas though is undoubtedly the sales up and down the high street - there's always some great offers to be looking out for!
One of my favourite shops to browse the sales in is Boots - there's such a wide range of things to choose from that you'll always manage to find something to suit your taste. They offer so much more than beauty products too - before Christmas I managed to get around 80% of my presents in store, and it worked out at great value for money too alongside the 3 for 2 gift offer!
Sanctuary products are up there as one of my favourites from Boots - alongside No7 and Soap and Glory. There's just something about Sanctuary and how gorgeous their products smell that draws me in, and then I end up spending about 30 minutes just smelling the candle from this set making me wish it was edible.
As part of their latest campaign, 'Let Go', Sanctuary are aiming to help women if they feel stressed and practically burned out. This is such a brilliant concept as I know that after a long day at work I can be so physically exhausted that I just flop into bed when I get home. So when I saw this Christmas set for the house slashed to half price, I decided to treat myself using some of my built up advantage card points. There's something about homeware that I tend to go a little bit crazy for - the nicer our apartment smells, the better in my opinion!
For some reason or another, I have a slight obsession with candles and reed diffusers. Before this Christmas, I genuinely had no idea that there were other type of reed diffusers out there besides Air Wick and Glade. This diffusier has that brilliant and strong Sanctuary smell, and after leaving in a room all day, its a big and refreshing fragrance that instantly makes me feel more relaxed.
The candle is amazing, and I could just sit there with it under my nose all day long. Again it has the signature Sanctuary smell about it, and it's pretty big too so I imagine it would have a pretty good amount of burn time. This would be the perfect candle to to use if you were in the bath too as it would be so relaxing and comforting that you could instantly unwind and forget the stresses of your day.
However, the room mist has to be one of my favourite products of the box. It's pretty powerful for a small bottle too - I wasn't expecting it to be such a strong scent! This is the perfect product for me as I love to spray our bedroom and fill in with a gorgeous aroma. I've actually taken to spraying this on our pillows before we wind down for the night - it helps to get me to sleep quicker and helps relax you so much that you tend to forget your worries for a while.
One of the things that intrigued me was the ceramic flowers - I honestly had no idea what they were, and now I know they're definitely something different! Plucking them out of the box with curiosity, the smell hit me before I even thought of giving them a sniff. Apparently they're scented ceramics! Which is a new concept to me I'll admit, but they definitely look cute lined up on the bookcase. Thumbs up to you Sanctuary!
The last item is seriously something so cute that it actually made me smile. Sanctuary scented rose petals! They seem to be slightly delicate, so I'm thinking of saving them for a special occasion - like to decorate the dining room table with when we have a romantic meal for our anniversary or Valentines Day. Super cute!
Reduced from £40 to £20, this is definitely going to be the perfect little treat for any sanctuary fan, or even someone who likes their homeware and wants to spruce things up a bit. The room mist is definitely something I'd recommend too - it's perfect for helping anyone to wind down and relax, letting any stress seep away until the next day.
