Flamingo Candles Mini-Haul

Dino's Beauty Diary - Flamingo Candles Mini-Haul

This post is an exciting one for me to write, and it's all thanks to Flamingo Candles. I've been a proud 'Melt Crowd' subscriber ever since the second box (unfortunately I was a little late to the party and couldn't get the first one). Since then I've had the chance to sample a wide variety of fragrances across Flamingo Candles, plus a few Melt Crowd exclusives and even some previews!

For a while now I've been eyeing up some of their candles, but with so many melts that I loved it was hard to choose just one or two! Whilst 'Parma Violets', featured in the November Melt Crowd box, will probably be my all time favourite (as well as my all time favourite sweet), I couldn't help but pick up a few items in the sale. It's like it was meant to be!

In the end, I couldn't resist picking up three candles, and each one couldn't be more different than the last! Thankfully the sale included some of the limited edition Christmas candles which had made their way into the December Melt Crowd box.

'Mulled Wine & Berries' Christmas Classic Jar Candle - Rich and warm, Mulled Wine and Berries is a seasonal accord recalling mulled wine and including apple, sweet berries, wine, brandy, orange, clove, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla.

Now I've never actually tried mulled wine before because it has never really appealed to me, but if it tastes as good as this candle smells then get me a glass, pronto! Joking aside, this candle has a gorgeous and intoxicatingly sweet aroma to it, and the scent of berries is seriously mouthwatering. Plus with some cute gold glitter running through the wax, it looks just as good as it smells!

'Jamaican CafĂ© & Walnut' Classic Jar Candle - Rich and sultry, Jamaican CafĂ© and Walnut is a hypnotising infusion of freshly ground, lightly roasted coffee beans sprinkled with crunchy walnut and a dusting of the finest smooth cocoa.

'Jamaican CafĂ© and Walnut' was one of the first melts I really enjoyed, way back in my September 2015 box. At first I didn't know what to make of this scent, as it's definitely a unique combination and unlike any other melt or candle. Liam actually liked this one before I knew what to think of it, so I added this to my basket as a little treat for him. It's definitely a more warming and musky kind of candle, and I love how different it is!

'Bah! Humbug' Christmas Classic Jar Candle - Rich and icy, 'Bah! Humbug' is a mouth-watering peppermint fragrance with notes of vanilla and crisp mint.

Since the Christmas box, this scent has quickly wormed its way into my heart. I love humbug mints and how delicious they are, so I'm seriously happy I have this candle to capture its strong peppermint essence. Someone at work mentioned how strong the mint scent was, but that's one of the things I love about it. It's not a delicate, sweet aroma like other candles and it's that difference that makes it so appealing.

For a reduced price of £6 each (normally £12), who can complain? The Melt Crowd has to be one of the best subscription boxes out there at the moment, as it's a great way to sample the fragrances without having to splurge out on the full product.
