Lush Meadowhall Haul #1

Dino's Beauty Diary - Lush Meadowhall Haul #1

Ah, it's been a good while since I last did a Lush haul. To be fair I think I now own most of the Lush products that I've wanted (self confessed Lush obsessive over here). With that in mind, I always look forward to different holidays and such - I mean, who can resist Lush seasonal products?!

Back in 2014 I managed to get my hands on some of the Christmas exclusive products in the Boxing Day sale online, so I figured I'd be able to do the same this year. I was delighted to get my hands on a big bottle of 'Snow Fairy' and some of the Christmas bath bombs!

Sadly though, when my order was delivered, there were only 3 bath bombs inside. After speaking to the customer care team, I was a little upset to hear that the website had been glitching, and about 80% of the products in my order were already sold out. As a token of good will, I was gifted a Lush gift card as an apology, which I thought was very thoughtful and generous.

Armed with a gift card, I started browsing the Lush website like it was Christmas morning. For ages I had my eye set on the 'Prince Charming' shower cream, but I refrained from ordering it online until I'd actually smelt it in store - and I'm glad I did. With pomegranate, vanilla and grapefruit, I thought it would be my dream product. However in person, there was a different shower cream that caught my eye - the 'Yummy Mummy' shower cream.

'Yummy Mummy' Shower Cream - A gorgeous lilac coloured shower cream, 'Yummy Mummy' has been changed slightly since last year when it was in a thicker form as a gel. As a cream I find this more moisturising for the skin than the gels, especially considering it has cocoa butter as one of the main ingredients. There's a nice, floral fragrance about it with a hint of fruit in there. This cream is now up there as one of my top Lush shower products, along with 'Yuzu and Cocoa' and 'Snow Fairy'.

'Daddy-O' Shampoo - As a blonde, I'm always on the look out for products that will help give my hair a well needed boost. I think this has been a long-standing Lush product, and I honestly can't believe it's never caught my eye before. Especially considering it has that Parma Violet scent to it, which is a fragrance I'll always love.

'Unicorn Horn' Bubble Bar - Ah, there's no other seasonal product I love more than the 'Unicorn Horn'. I can remember looking around this time last year for it, as my closest store had actually sold out pretty quick! This year though I'm sure it's been redesigned quite a bit, as it looks a bit lighter in colour than I remember. It has that delicious, sweet scent to it with lavender and ylang-ylang, making it the perfect bath time product before getting in bed. It's so relaxing and I need to stock up on this before it's taken off the shelves.

This has been a pretty small haul, especially considering I sometimes tend to go a bit wild whenever I'm in Lush. Overall though, I'm glad I finally got the chance to see what 'Yummy Mummy' smelt like, especially because I'd seen it here and there on the internet beforehand. Plus I finally found something that smells like Parma Violets - always a bonus! I can never get enough of that scent.
