I can remember the first time I ever used a Soap and Glory product as if it were yesterday. It was a Christmas quite a few years ago, and I'd received one of their cute little bath and shower sets. And when I got around to using it, I instantly fell in love with the fresh and fruity fragrance - it was so refreshing and different.
Soap and Glory products have that signature sweet and girly fragrance that when sprayed, is easily identifiable with the brand. That has to be one of the things I love the most about S&G products - no matter what, it has such a unique scent that makes it so recognisable.
So when it came to my attention that Soap and Glory have their own official perfume, I got a little bit excited. Every day at work my friend AmĂ©lie would spritz herself with this perfume before I finally decided to look into it myself. And for only £15, I have to say it's quite the bargain!
The perfume comes in a rounded silver bottle, which I have to admit catches the eye. Plus, it's an ideal perfume to just pop in your bag before you head out and about on your day. As it's not glass, it runs little risk of smashing, and it's small and compact enough to not take up too much space or be too heavy in your handbag.
As a fragrance, with notes of jasmine and patchouli, the overall aroma is quite an intoxicating and refreshing scent. The addition of fruity notes including strawberry and peach add to its overall appeal, with small floral notes dotted throughout. If you've ever used a Soap and Glory product or body mist, then you'll know that they throw together such a gorgeous array of notes to create something so instantly recognisable and different to other perfumes out there.
Overall, if you're a fan of Soap and Glory (and their amazing signature scent), then this may be the perfect everyday fragrance for you. Whilst it is smaller than expected, I love using this for work as it's not too overpowering or strong enough to give me a migraine. My only slight problem with this is that it feels like it doesn't last really long - but as it's only an eau de toilette, it is meant for more of a spritz on application rather than a strong lasting eau de parfum. But for only £15, who can say no?!
