*Insert typical 'how fast is time rushing by' moan here*.
In all seriousness though, how is it March already?! My mind can't seem to grasp that we're now a quarter of the way into the year, and technically now into Spring too! Not that the weather shows that mind...I'm not sure what it's like where you live, but right now I can hear the heavy wind outside the window, and only a couple of hours ago it was peeing it down with rain. Ah, England, what lovely weather you have.
Anyway, weather talk aside, February has actually been a pretty good month for me favourites-wise. Theres been a few beauty products I've discovered that have genuinely opened my eyes and helped me change up my beauty regimes, as well as an amazing adults colouring book which has helped ease my stress at night.
Beauty:
Keratin Revolution Argan Oil 'Illuminate' Serum*: I've never really been one for hair oils as I've always been wary of using them and thinking they'd make my hair look super greasy. However, I actually managed to get myself into a hair salon and treat myself, and since then I've been hooked. This gem from Keratin Revolution smells practically edible and I swear it makes me drool just a little too. The killer selling point for me though is how this is brilliant at reducing frizz, whilst also making my hair gorgeously sleek and soft.
NAILED London Gel Wear Polish in 'Thigh High Club'*: Not too long ago, I wrote a post on the NAILED London range by Rosie Fortescue, and how it had quickly become my favourite go-to brand for painting my nails. Since then I've invested in a few more of their polishes, but 'Thigh High Club' still remains tied for top spot with 'Noodle Nude'. Recently I've been loving rocking a darker nail, and this warm berry shade is getting me some fabulous comments!
No7 'Calm Skin' Redness Relief Balm: If you suffer from pretty much permanently flushed or red skin, then you'll know how much of a pain in the butt it is trying to cover it. If my skins having a particularly bad day, I may even get a comment here or there at work asking if I'm okay because I look very flushed. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that people may be a little concerned, but it does get a little bit embarrassing having to say that's just my natural skin tone really. Anyway, this balm has helped me so much recently that I've actually started to feel a bit more confident in my own skin. Redness was reduced instantly, and whilst I feel like it is more of a cream than a balm, it sinks in pretty well. Impressed!
LUSH 'Honey Trap' Lip Balm: I actually received this as part of a gift set, and boy I'm glad I did. I keep this in my work bag to keep my lips in decent shape, as I'd say around 99% of the time the air conditioning is on at work. Yep, you heard it. Air con on. In winter! Anyway it's pretty drying on my lips, but this is perfect to keep them protected. Plus it smells so delicious that I sometimes find myself lathering it on for no apparent reason. It has a gorgeous sweet scent to it, and if you combine this with one of Lush's lip scrubs then you'll definitely be on to a winner.
Lifestyle:
Harry Potter Colouring Book: Colouring books are all the rage at the moment, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't jumped on the bandwagon. Aimed at helping with stress and relaxation, there's such a wide range of books out there now that it would probably be impossible to not find one to suit your own tastes. Anyway, when I saw this Harry Potter colouring book on Amazon I couldn't help but add it to my basket. Who doesn't love Harry Potter?! This is the perfect gift for any HP fan and trust me when I say there's nothing more relaxing than colouring in your own Dobby.
