Whenever a hot new trend comes out, I'll be the first to admit it takes a while for me to cotton on. I'm not sure what it is, other than a general reluctance to accept change, or maybe I'm just getting to that point where I'm stuck in my ways. That was definitely the case anyway when it came to hair oils - for ages I had the same old routine for my hair simply consisting of wash, rinse, repeat, and I never did anything more than that and a simple style. Then one day came along the Keratin Revolution Argan Oil, and my entire hair game changed.

Since then, I've made more of a conscious effort to up my hair game and keep different products involved. I don't know if it's just me, but I've found that if I use the same shampoo and conditioner constantly, my hair grows used to it and starts to go dead limp and lifeless. So to stay one step ahead of the game and keep my hair looking fresh and full of life, I'll change up my products constantly, and that's how I happened upon today's product of choice - the Lee Stafford BLEAch BLondes GOLDen girl OiL.

Described as 'a kiss of life for bleach blonde hair', this hair oil is the first oil I've come across that also acts as a neutraliser for brassy and coppery tones. Now as I'm not naturally blonde (sorry to break it to you) I'll take all the help I can get hen it comes to maintaining my blonde locks. Not only do I tend to struggle with brassy tones, but on occasion it can look quite dry and thirsty too, meaning it can take a lot of time and effort to keep up maintenance. Another one of the amazing things about this hair oil is how hydrating and nourishing it is on the hair - I for once couldn't believe how much one pump helped my hair, and it's seriously impressive how a little goes a very long way. It's incredible how shiny and soft this makes my hair look too, I'm seriously in awe at how silky it feels afterwards. Scent-wise it's similar to other Lee Stafford products in that it smells super delicious and not like something that belongs on my hair...deceptive. In fact, I'd go as far to say that I'd probably end up buying this hair oil just based on smell alone it's that good.
