Over the past year or so my wax melt collection has steadily grown to a point now where I have a pretty decent collection going on, and I'm pretty darn impressed with that. Mostly I have Flamingo Candles to thank - for those of you who don't know, Flamingo Candles offer a monthly subscription box consisting of 8 wax melts (sometimes more), each unique in their own special way. More often than not the box also has an overarching theme, and this month comes in the form of 'Spring' - think beautiful florals and fresh fruity melts and you're pretty much on track!

'Violet & Lime' Scent Melt - As a huge fan of the 'Parma Violets' wax melt, it's fair to say I have a small weakness. The scent is similar in this melt but not quite as potent, but it rather overshadowed by the strong zest of the lime.

'Peaches & Cream' Scent Melt - Oooh la la is this melt lush. It smells exactly as beautiful as you'd imagine a peach-based melt to smell, with strong undercurrents of what I think smells like vanilla milk bottles. It gives me slight nostalgia as this melt smells so much like a sweet shop to me, like the pick n mix bags I used to get when I was younger.

'Créme Brûlée' Scent Melt - An oldie but a goodie, Creme Brûlée has always been an old favourite of mine - we go way back. It's such a gentle and warming scent, and I always love burning it after a long stressful day at work to help myself relax.

'Pink Lemonade' Scent Melt - Last seen in the February 2016 box (if I remember correctly), 'Pink Lemonade' is a welcome addition this month. I've always had a sweet spot when it comes to pink lemonade, and this melt perfectly captures its sweet fizz.

'Tangerine Mojito' Scent Melt - This ones a weird one for me, and it's quite strong and dominated the box. It has a very strong orange zest to it which is quite nice and fresh, and it makes the lime in the 'Violet & Lime' melt seem tame in comparison. I'm not sure where the mojito comes into account though.

'Orange Pekoe Tea' Scent Melt - I'm not sure where I stand on this melt, its quite herbal and earthy and I can't detect anything orange-y about it. Tea's have never really been my thing so I asked Liam for his opinion - all he gave me was 'it's strong'. Cheers Liam!

'Rose Velvet & Precious Oud' Scent Melt - You know if you could distill all the beauty of Lush right down into one scent and stick it in a melt? Yeah, thats basically what this baby is. I love it. For me, it's very similar to the 'Rose Jam' shower gel I did a review on a while back (you can check out that review right here).

'Daffodil' Scent Melt - What better way to round out the Spring box than with the perfect Spring melt in the form of 'Daffodil'?! Quite a uplifting floral scent, it surely doesn't disappoint - it even reminds me of some of the Lush products they have in around Easter! (Can you tell I'm a little Lush mad?)

Overall, this months box has been the perfect way to welcome in Spring - full of fresh and inviting scents, it's surely one that doesn't disappoint. In all honesty I don't think there's one melt I actively dislike in this months box, and that's a pretty impressive feat! Are you a Melt Crowd subscriber? What was your favourite melt this month? Or are you thinking about subscribing? Let me know in the comments below!
